I used to hate people who negotiated business deals with me with a little bit of arrogance and just that bit of … playful indulgence, because I was young and lesser experienced. Not that I am much better off now, but I find myself a little indulgent and extra firm when it comes to negotiating with someone of 2-3 years experience, and much more respectful when it comes to someone with 20 years experience. I dont like myself for it, but then it works to my advantage.
Human nature I guess. And I guess thats how the young ones learn, and meanwhile respect, the elders.
At least Im past the stage when people could be less respectful just because I was naiver than them!
